FASHION SCOOP: Twerkin’ world record was set in New York City!

In New York City, a twerkin’ world record was set in Herald Square. My jaw dropped when I saw this video, I just never thought I’d see the day. Miley has some strong competition,lol. (The Cut) See video below;

Saks Fifth Avenue is  just as excited about the October 3rd premiere of ABC’s Scandal as we all are. The retailer will roll out a promotion at their Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City with a meet and greet with Shonda Rhimes and costume designer Lyn Paolo on October 2nd. The store will also decorate their windows with inspired pieces curated by Kerry Washington. A few other Saks stores will also have Scandal-themed displays. If actual Scandal-branded fare is more your pace, get excited: ABC is considering a Scandal-branded clothing line, which would be geared at working women who want to capture some of Olivia Pope‘s style. Ann Taylor and The Jones Group are two names they have in mind for the project. It goes without saying that there are already several women who could get on board with something like that! (WWD)

LVMH is making some serious moves these days. The French luxury supercorp purchased a stake Nicholas Kirkwood, the company has revealed that they will also add J.W. Anderson to the impressive roster of labels under their umbrella. And that’s not all the good news for Anderson– the 29-year-old has just been named the creative director of Loewe, replacing Stuart Vevers who left to serve as the executive creative director for Coach. Congrats to Anderson! Get money!! (WWD)
