RECIPE: Kafta Towers and Stuffed Tomato Grattin

Creativity is he key to life!
So,here are two recipes for something tasty and simple to make, kind of like a quick meal to whip up in your kitchen!
Even fashionista's gotta eat right?

Kafta Tower:

For each tower you need the below;
ü  2 slice of potato
ü  1 pcs of fresh lamb kafta
ü  2 slices of tomatoes
ü  1 slice of white onions

First half fry the potato slices along with the kafta pcs from both sides, then remove from heat. Have the white onions and tomato freshly sliced aside. (shallow fry)

Build up in sequence:
In a baking tray, place the potato slice, then the kafta, then tomato slice, then the onion slice, then again 1 potato and finish it with a slice of tomato

Baking (pre-heat oven first):
Bake the kafta towers in the oven (Oven on from both upper and down level) over 190 Degrees Celsius for like 30 minutes. Depends on the number of towers inside the tray

Could be served with garlic and lemon dip, or tomato sauce dip

Stuffed Tomatoes:

For each stuffed tomato you need the below;
ü  1 big tomato/ around 180 grams
ü  60 grams of fresh lamb kafta
ü  2 garlic cloves
ü  Half white onion/ around 40 grams
ü  Little freshly chopped coriander/ around 10 grams
ü  Salt and pepper to taste
ü  40 grams of shredded Mozzarella cheese
ü  5 grams of Parmesan cheese

Cut the upper level of the tomato then empty all the inside but not the sides. Half fry the tomato from the bottom side for 40 seconds in a frying pan. (Optional frying)
Cut the garlic cloves and onions in diced shape.
Cut the coriander finely
Heat up a little oil in a frying pan, then add the garlic and onions for a minute, then add the kafta and keep stirring for 3 minutes. After that, add the salt and pepper and mix well then remove from heat. Then add the coriander and mix it well.

Stuff the cooked meat inside the tomato and place it in a baking tray. Bake the stuffed tomato for 10 to 12 minutes over 180 degrees Celsius (Depending on the size of the tomato). Then add both the cheeses on top, and bake for another couple of minutes just to melt the cheese.

And Voila;

Try it and let me know how it worked out for you.
Bon appetite!
