Heads Up For Southern Hemisphere Belles: Glorious Winter

My fav winter style set, I created with the streets of NYC in the back of my mind

This post is mainly for our Southern Hemisphere readers who are now approaching glorious Winter also known as fashion’s favorite season.
With that being said I thought it best to report on all the trends and must-haves for this season brought to you by New York, Milan, Paris and London fashion week. Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham have already been seen donning some of these trends so ladies, be sure to take note and do share with your fellow stylista’s.

Trends
Skirts. Yes! Bring out the lady in you by donning a great skirt. The bigger the better.

Leather
Not only does this look bring a matte finish to any outfit but can also go from day-time to night-time. Can you say sexy??

Accessories:
Oversized beanies
I have always been a fan for beanies especially in winter, but I am not too sure if I am a fan of the oversized ones. Definitely not a trend for everyone.

Colors:
Pink
This is my favorite color and I am so happy that it is in again. Although it is synonymous with being a colour for “girly girls” it can still be classy and sexy at the same time.
Eccentric Blue
This striking colour which has been called “the new black” is a good way to make you stand out in a crowd. Whether you wear it head to toe or prefer to wear specific pieces of this colour, you are sure to make everyone in a room stop and stare.
Prints:
Leopard
We all love leopard print but it is very easy to lose track and get it wrong. Make sure to start off in moderation when incorporating this trend in your outfit. For the more risqué ladies out there, try getting a fabulous long coat as seen on the Burberry runway or a leopard print blazer a la Moschino. While you’re at it, don’t go the conventional brown, but try the red as seen in Sister by Sibling.

Plaid
Let’s be honest, when has plaid ever gone out of style? Play around with different colours to give it that fashion forward look just like Vivienne Westwood.

 Glamorously Yours!
