REVIEW | BRAZILIAN KINKY CURLY HAIR WIG

I have been wearing this awesome wig for the past couple of week, on and off, between headwraps.
I had never tried rocking the natural hair looking wigs before but I'm loving this one,so this was a good call.
It's worked well in anything I have worn and everywhere I have rocked it,formal activities included.

OOTD: The Nude lace+ White Floral Detail Dress

The nude lace dress with white floral details was inspired by the details on most of the lace dresses that were spotted on the runway at Fashion Week S/S 2015,especially at Elie Saab.I wore it to the TIWC Charity Gala - this year's theme was black and white.

My dress was custom made and designed by Maria Martinez , she made me two dresses, one in white and one in black. The idea of the nude lace is to give the illusion that I wore nothing but floral on top.

For my makeup, I stuck with a natural palette, completing it with Revlon's 260 roxy future lip gloss which is brown nude with glitter in it.

I paired it with a black bag and a pair of studded nude high heels from Steve Madden.

FASH FOOD: Izumi By Sumi

I suggested this restaurant for a girls catch up, it's the newly reopened Izumi by Sumi (previously Sumi Sushi).
It is located in the 101 area, in the same building as Brown Sugar bar,it is directly behind Brown Sugar.
I suppose in this part of the world, when a place like Izumi opens or re-opens there really isn't anything extraordinary about it; serving cuisine that is available in more than a handful of restaurants, but I guarantee you that a dining experience at the new location will be worth every cent spent (the minimum charge is 400NTD).

It's a Japanese fusion restaurant. What I like to call "western sushi", which consists mainly of custom sushi rolls, which are easy on the palate for most people who love the idea of sushi but not the real deal. With that said, there is plenty authentic Japanese food on the menu as well as Thai food.

From the moment you walk in, everything about the restaurant screams fusion; from the soft pop music playing in the background, the excellently executed minimalist decor with hints of easily recognizable outdoor Japanese decor to the food. The inside settings are very modern as well, you can instantly tell that the restaurant transforms itself into a snazzy lounge and bar after the sunsets.
The food was great and the service was fast which was exceptional during the busy lunch hour.  However the salmon sushi roll could do without the cheese even though its a witty touch. The volcano roll and avocado roll are a simple must try- the explosion of taste in my mouth was a welcome change.
The Thai ground pork was full of flavor, with a great balance between spicy and salty. I also recommend you try the peach flavored Sake!

Expats in Taipei will love this place.

OOTD: THE BLACK TULLE SKIRT

Just another weather-undecided day in Taipei.
I headed into the city to have lunch with a friend, a belated birthday lunch after his whirlwind tour of the world and also made a quick stop at Sotheby's annual Art preview show.
For this rather special afternoon, I wore black and hints of caramel.

I ordered the black tulle skirt a few weeks ago from chicwish.com, I am very impressed by it.
Anyone who has ordered from the first time from any online highstreet spot will know that you really must hold your breathe until your parcel arrives. Yet this one looks exactly like it did online and also, the volume is perfect..the right dramatic affect for any day.
I got a lot of stares from my fellow city dwellers, probably because they couldn't figure out what a grown woman is doing in a "tutu" loool, however, it received glowing reviews from the Art crowd at  Sotheby's.
